A Challenge to Chase the Blues Away!

Disclaimer: I received an Amazon gift card to review and promote the FitnessBank Step Challenge with Des Linden as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review, find, and write race reviews!

Oof. Let’s start out by airing it all out, we have to acknowledge how FRUSTRATING it’s been, stuck at home, social distancing, races cancelled, work (more than likely) being flipped on its head, and the new normal not being easy.

For me, I try and look at some positives that are coming out of this. Being home, sans my commute, I can focus more on my fitness, being able to incorporate much more into my day without having to worry about the whole day being lost. My husband is also home from work, so we get to have some much appreciated time together. And finally, there IS something I can do to keep my goal oriented personality!

Lets get some stepping in!

As I previously wrote about, Fitness Bank is hosting a Spring Step Challenge with none ofter than Des Linden! Now for the deets. This challenge is 100% FREE to enter! All you have to do is this: Download the Fitness Bank Step Tracker App; Sign up for the step tracker (you don’t have to sign up for the banking portion, you could, but its not a requirement to participate, nor would it boost your chances of winning a prize, I see you); Once you’re all signed up just gotta link it to wherever you track your fitness (Garmin, FitBit, Apple Watch, etc..) in the app. Last step is to sign up for the challenge (pictured below)

Here it is!! Your ticket to the challenge

You’re in! The challenge starts today, 4/1, and runs all the way to 5/31! Now, this is the perfect way to get back into the swing of things! Not only are you competing against one of the greatest marathoners, but by participating you get a shot at winning tons of cool prizes, including signed gear by Des herself, free shoes, and A YEAR OF FREE RACES!

What better sense of accomplishment than having a glass of bourbon (and checking those steps)

Now get out there and start stepping people! But remember, be safe, social distance, stay hydrated, and a step is a step! If you’re pacing the kitchen, walking up and down your stairs, using your treadmill, or finding a route locally that you can do safely #releasetherunner in you!

We see you there Des! and we’re all starting on equal ground! Lets do this!
